POLARIS Makes Inc. List of Fastest-Growing Private Firms

POLARIS Laboratories, a leader among fluid analysis providers in North America, was ranked 3,400th on Inc. Magazine’s 2009 List of Fastest-Growing Privately Held Companies in America. The company also made the Indianapolis Business Journal’s List of the Top 25 Fastest-Growing Privately Held Companies in Indiana four years in a row, placing 12th in 2003, 16th in 2004, 12th in 2005 and 23rd in 2006.

 

A full-service provider of oil, fuel and coolant analysis and related services, POLARIS has increased revenue by 73.4 percent from 2005 to 2008. Headquartered in Indianapolis, POLARIS has grown from five employees at its inception in 1999, to more than 130 with testing facilities also located in Houston, Salt Lake City and Edmonton, Alberta.

 

POLARIS CEO Bryan Debshaw credits the company’s ISO 17025 A2LA accreditation and its innovative reporting software and data management capabilities for much of its continued growth over the past 10 years.
