Product Regulates Flow of Adhesives, Sealants and Lubricants

Sealant Equipment & Engineering Inc., a leading manufacturer of meter-mix dispense equipment, introduced a new Material Regulator. This device is designed to regulate the flow of any pumpable material – including epoxy, polyurethane, silicone, grease, adhesives, sealants, acrylics, mastics and paint – when dispense pressure and flow rate control are critical.

Featuring stainless steel construction of all wetted parts, the Material Regulator is compatible with most materials. It provides a low-cost solution that eliminates the problem of variable-flow-rate surges generated from a transfer pump material supply source, particularly important when applying a uniform bead of material or when spraying a uniform pattern of material in an automated industrial environment.

Special internal severe-duty components make this regulator ideal for dispensing a highly filled abrasive material. The regulator is commonly mounted at the transfer pump outlet or at the material distribution piping header drop up-stream, before the application whip hose and dispense outlet valve.

Sealant Equipment and Engineering is the leading manufacturer of precision meter-mix dispense systems and fluid-dispense valves. The company designs, manufactures and integrates precision-engineered dispensing systems, equipment and dispense valves to supply, proportion, control, meter, mix and dispense a wide variety of one-, two- and three-component adhesives, sealants, lubricants including epoxies, silicones, polyurethanes, plastisols, acrylics, greases, oils and other fluid materials.

Sealant Equipment & Engineering is registered to ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System for all manufactured equipment.
