Noria news wires

Polaris Laboratories has expanded into Russia with the opening of a new lab in Moscow. The lab’s managing director is Dr. Guram Nemsadze, who has 19 years of experience in the field of oil refining, lubricants and tribology. He also teaches undergraduate and graduate students at the I. M. Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas.

Qualified specialists trained at Polaris Laboratories’ headquarters in Indianapolis will perform modern diagnostic tests using some of the most advanced equipment available, much of which cannot be found anywhere else in Russia.

Companies operating in the Russian market, such as Volvo, Subaru, Cummins, General Electric, TGK-8, Energokaskad and GreenTime, are already taking advantage of the services being offered by Polaris Laboratories Russia.

In addition to providing advanced testing, the new lab is also offering prompt service, with 94 percent of the samples received being processed and having reports delivered within 24 to 48 hours.

Polaris Laboratories Russia represents the seventh facility for Polaris, which serves more than 60,000 clients in 76 countries.

“The goal of the new Moscow laboratory is to strengthen Polaris Laboratories’ presence in Europe and Asia,” stated Bryan Debshaw, Polaris Laboratories’ CEO.

All of Polaris Laboratories’ North American facilities are ISO 17025 A2LA accredited, which is the highest quality rating attainable for the analysis of technical fluids. Polaris Laboratories Russia has begun the process of becoming ISO 17025 accredited as well. Currently, Polaris Laboratories Russia is operating according to the requirements of the Polaris Laboratories Quality System and is being managed by the lab’s science and quality departments.
