PetroChoice Acquires US Lubes South

Noria news wires

PetroChoice recently announced the acquisition of US Lubes' Southern division, further expanding the company's geographic presence with a location in Wakefield, Va. The announcement comes on the heels of PetroChoice acquiring the New Jersey division of US Lubes in December.

US Lubes chief executive officer Bill Packer and his team will work closely with PetroChoice to facilitate a smooth and seamless transition.

"At US Lubes, our customers' satisfaction was always our No. 1 objective," said Packer. "Based on the ease of transition with our previously divested New Jersey business, we quickly agreed that PetroChoice was and is the best solution to continue our commitment to all of our customers."

A provider of petroleum-based lubrication products and services in the Mid-Atlantic and Midwest regions, PetroChoice distributes lubricants, coolants, metalworking fluids, equipment, auto-lube and filtration systems, and contamination-control devices.

"Having already combined the efforts of US Lubes North with PetroChoice's current mission has allowed us to offer our Mid-Atlantic customers unparalleled sales and service," said Bob Mills, president of PetroChoice's Mid-Atlantic division. "Adding US Lubes South to our portfolio really expands the depth of our Mid-Atlantic offering, and we are very excited to now have a physical presence in Virginia."
