5 Fast Lube Plus Locations Receive Motor Oil Matters Certification

Fast Lube Plus recently announced that its locations in Cary, Apex, Holly Springs, Garner and Morrisville, N.C., have become the first American Petroleum Institute (API) Motor Oil Matters (MOM) certified motor oil installers in North Carolina.

MOM certification is a third-party distinction that demonstrates that a motor oil installer adheres to the highest possible industry standards and delivers only quality motor oils.

In order to qualify for the API's MOM program, install locations are required to exhibit an ongoing commitment to quality, a dedication to accurate record-keeping and transparency, as well as the confidence to submit to random audits to ensure only quality oils are installed in consumers’ cars and trucks. MOM recognized five Fast Lube Plus locations for passing its requirements and dedication to consumer education. 

"These Fast Lube Plus locations have demonstrated an impressive commitment to their customers by making sure they deliver only high-quality, API-certified motor oils," said Kevin Ferrick, API's engine oil licensing and certification system manager. "By achieving Motor Oil Matters certified status, all five of these locations proudly display the MOM-certified symbol, a sign consumers can look for and be confident that they will get the quality oils that meet the performance standards recommended by their vehicle and engine manufacturers."
