Alemite recently introduced a new 20-volt, lithium-ion grease gun for equipment maintenance applications. Intended to improve productivity by reducing guesswork and waste, the Model 596 features built-in intelligence, including a multi-function liquid crystal display (LCD) with an impact-resistant lens surrounded by an impact-absorbing bezel.

The LCD also incorporates a grease meter with readings in ounces or grams, a grease level gauge and a battery capacity gauge. The display keeps the operator in control at all times, relaying stall condition, loss of prime, low battery capacity and low grease level.

With a maximum pressure of 10,000 pounds per square inch (psi), the new grease gun offers two flow rate settings and an LED flashlight to illuminate dark areas. The efficient drive train, which has the motor located inside the handle, delivers up to 15 grease cartridges per battery charge. Designed with the operator in mind, the grease gun’s shape, balance and weight provide optimal comfort to boost productivity.

Headquartered in Fort Mill, South Carolina, Alemite is a leading provider of lubrication and fluid handling systems and equipment, including oil mist systems, fluid management controls, pumps, reels, meters, fittings and grease guns.
