Schroeder Industries recently introduced the Testmate Water Sensor (TWS-D), a new version of its water saturation and temperature sensor for hydraulic and lubrication fluids in industrial environments.

Designed to help combat the problem of water in hydraulic oil, which can cause oil degradation, varnish and premature component failures, the TWS-D has an integral display area that removes the need to connect and mount a separate display for monitoring the water content of fluid. It is also rotatable on two axes, allowing visibility from nearly every angle.

Equipped with an internal switch, the TWS-D can be programmed directly from the display. This sends an alarm if the water saturation level becomes too high in order to prevent system failures and unnecessary interruptions to operations.

Headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pa., Schroeder Industries is an ISO 9001:2008-certified company that designs, manufactures and markets filtration solutions for hydraulic, lubrication and process systems.
