Schroeder Industries recently introduced its new Handy Filter System Basic Cart (HFS-BC) with dual housings along with an HFS-BC backpack version.

The filter cart is a self-contained, light-duty filtration system equipped with high-efficiency, high-capacity elements that are capable of removing particle and/or water contamination quickly. It is ideal for cleaning up existing systems as well as for pre-filtering new fluids, since new fluids often have contamination levels significantly higher than what is recommended for most hydraulic systems.

The HFS-BC's compact, lightweight design includes a replaceable element cartridge and a 25-percent-higher dirt-holding capacity than comparable spin-on filters. Element service is accomplished through the top-ported filter housings. The bypass valves and sealing of the housing are renewed with every element change.

The unit's gear pump has a flow rate of 4 gallons per minute and is capable of handling fluids up to 1,600 Saybolt universal seconds (SUS). The optional dual filter assembly allows for water and particulate removal or true staged particulate.

The HFS-BC Backpack option is intended to enable greater ease of transport across longer distances.

An ISO 9001:2008-certified company, Schroeder Industries designs, manufactures and markets filtration products for the hydraulic, lubrication, filter systems, process and fuel industries.
