Shrader Tire & Oil Co. recently acquired the lubricant business from Keneco Distributors of Findlay, Ohio. Owned by Mary Beilharz-Miller and her late husband, Brad, Keneco had been in business for 35 years.

Shrader Tire & Oil has assumed all lubricant operations of Keneco's 18,750-square-foot facility in northwest Ohio, as well as inventory, vehicles and equipment. Key Keneco personnel in management, sales and operations have decided to join Shrader to provide business continuity.

"We are looking forward to being a part of the Shrader family, and we're excited to see what the future brings for us and our customers," said Doug Cramer, manager of the Findlay warehouse. "Our goal is a seamless transition."

Shrader Tire & Oil has been servicing customers in the transportation, construction and manufacturing industries since 1948 with 13 commercial tire and fleet service centers and four bulk oil plants throughout Ohio, Michigan and Indiana.

"We're looking forward to building a successful partnership with our new customers and anticipate forging lasting and meaningful relationships," said Joe Shrader, president and chief executive officer of Shrader Tire & Oil. "Our new customer base will benefit from the addition of our quality Chevron lubricants, extreme customer service, buying power, 68 years of lubricant knowledge and solution provider approach that will ultimately help lower their operating costs."
