G.K. Industries (GKI) recently introduced a new line of synthetic oil filters to offer filtration coverage for vehicles ranging from small compact cars to super-duty pickup trucks.

The GKI XL filters combine synthetic blend filtration media with a silicone anti-drainback valve to withstand extreme temperature fluctuations and provide extended engine protection. The oil filters are designed to go up to 15,000 miles (24,000 kilometers) and are available in more than 20 part numbers.

Engineered to maximize filter performance, the premium filters are 99 percent efficient, offering high-efficiency filtration and more than twice the filtering capacity of conventional oil filters for long-lasting engines. The GKI XL filters are expected to be available in October 2018.

"There is an increasing need for high-quality synthetic oil filters in the aftermarket, as OE (original equipment) carmakers are producing more and more engines requiring synthetic oil," said Annette Bardakjian, director of marketing for G.K. Industries. "GKI's XL Synthetic filter line is the installer's solution to meeting new OE requirements."

Headquartered in Brampton, Ontario, G.K. Industries has provided filtration solutions in the North American market for the past 46 years.
