AMETEK Acquires Spectro Scientific

Spectro Scientific recently announced that it has been purchased by AMETEK for approximately $190 million. A privately held company headquartered in Chelmsford, Massachusetts, Spectro is one of the largest suppliers of fluid analysis instrumentation and software with annual sales of approximately $50 million.
