Stanhope-Seta has developed Multiflash to provide users with a low-cost, automatic instrument designed to conduct tests in conformity to the Pensky Martens, Abel, Tag, Cleveland and Equilibrium flash point test methods. The design incorporates state-of-the-art electronics and mechanics to provide high-volume, continuous throughput in an easy-to-use design.

Multiflash accommodates five interchangeable test cup modules, and incorporates Module Recognition software that automatically installs the relevant test protocol based on the module in use. All operations are performed using just two buttons and a unique SMART (Seta Multifunctional and Rotational Test) control system.

Operating features include gas or electric ignition, automatic flash detection, automatic barometric pressure correction, automatic cooling and an optional audible end-of-test warning system. The system provides a display panel for immediate visual observation of data, and stores the results for later use. The instrument incorporates three safety systems plus a “fail-safe” software system. Multiflash is manufactured under ISO 9001 quality standards.

Stanhope-Seta designs and manufactures quality-control instruments used to measure the physical characteristics that determine product quality and consistency in chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, food, cosmetic and other industrial environments.
