- Buyer's Guide
SDT recently released the newest addition to its family of ultrasound detectors. The Checker range is intended to offer a low-cost solution for every potential problem, with the LEAKChecker for pinpointing pressure and vacuum leaks, the LUBEChecker for optimizing bearing lubrication, the TRAPChecker for assessing the condition of steam traps and valves, and the TIGHTChecker for verifying the tightness of closed volumes.
Users simply choose the right tool for the job at hand and then can perform a fast, troubleshooting inspection.
Ideal for reliability departments adopting operator-driven reliability (ODR), the new detectors are designed to identify defects early and quickly while also enabling deeper analysis and trending with an SDT200 or SDT270 detector.
Each Checker features an on/off button and four function keys to control the intuitive graphical user interface. The easy-to-use detectors allow results to be achieved right out of the box with no training required.
"Part of our corporate vision is to help our customers create sustainable, world-class ultrasound programs," explains Andre Degraeve, managing director of SDT. "The Checkers make high-quality ultrasound inspection available to customers from all walks of life."
