Noria news wires

Total Lubricants and Temot recently announced a new three-year partnership agreement that will enable Total to expand its network to new distributors. The strategic agreement allows Total to offer its products not only to the automotive market but also to the heavy-duty vehicle market, as well as gain access to independent garages and new geographical areas.

"By becoming a fully referenced supplier, Total is covering an even wider area, moving closer to distributors and becoming a local partner," said Thierry Gourault, vice president of automotive global businesses at Total Lubricants. "By partnering with major distributors, Total is cementing its position as a premium supplier of engine lubricants by providing our entire product range."

Founded in 1994, Temot is a global automotive parts and accessories purchasing company, employing more than 35,000 people and collaborating with 20,000 garages in 63 countries and four continents. The garages in Temot's network will now have access to oils developed by Total Lubricants, including Total Quartz and Total Rubia.

"We are delighted by the partnership with Total, one of the largest players in the lubricants market," said Fotios Katsardis, president and CEO of Temot International. "Our shareholders, both light and heavy-duty vehicles, present on all continents, will thus benefit from its strong global presence."
