Klϋber Introduces Semi-fluid Grease

Noria news wires

Klϋber Lubrication recently introduced a new semi-fluid grease that can be used in place of gear oils in leaking gearboxes as well as for centralized lubrication systems that operate in low temperatures.

Klübersynth BEM 44-4600 is based on high-viscosity synthetic hydrocarbon oil and a special lithium soap. Due to its thixotropic behavior, it is able to slow leaks while continuing to protect gears and bearings.

State-of-the-art additives help to ensure resistance to oxidation, wear and corrosion. The grease is also resistant to high temperatures.

With its wide service temperature range and reduced power consumption, Klübersynth BEM 44-4600 can be utilized in general industrial equipment, machine tools, heavy industry equipment (mining and cement), robotics, and chemical and agricultural machinery.

Klϋber also unveiled a new specialty grease for the lubrication of chains and plain and rolling bearings.

Hydrokapilla NBU 20 HFE US is designed for applications that experience high humidity and/or aggressive environments. It can be used in drive and carrying chains along with any chains subject to hot water, chlorinated water, steam, and alkaline and acidic solutions.

The specialty grease can resist corrosion and prevent chain seizure by penetrating into pins and bushings. It is applied manually via brush or an automatic spraying system.
