Lumax Unveils New Grease Gun

Noria news wires

Lumax recently introduced a new heavy-duty, cordless grease gun to help speed up lubrication tasks. The RoboLuber (LX-1182) has a maximum operating pressure of 10,000 pounds per square inch (psi), with a high flow rate of up to 7 ounces at normal pressures and 2.8 ounces at high pressures.

The 20-volt lithium-ion battery can deliver more than six cartridges of grease. The grease gun also comes with a two-speed switch for high-pressure or high-volume delivery and an integrated LED light to help locate hidden grease points.

The patented configuration includes a built-in pressure-relief valve, comfortable grip, durable construction, 30-inch hose with spring guards, hose holder, battery packs, charger, carrying strap and carrying case.

Lumax also unveiled a new grease coupler that is designed to enable hands-free greasing. The heavy-duty, quick-release LX-1403-XL forms a high-performance hydraulic seal with no damage to the seal even after hundreds of uses.

The grease coupler has a working pressure of 15,000 psi and a burst pressure of 22,000 psi. It incorporates four hardened jaws to withstand high pressures without deformation.

The integrated non-return valve allows the device to be disconnected easily at high pressures. The compact size is also ideal for reaching recessed and hard-to-reach fittings.

The 1/8-inch NPT connection fits all SAE and metric grease fittings, which makes it suitable for use on hand, battery-powered or air-operated grease guns and bulk grease pumps. The ergonomic thumb lever design also enables effortless coupling and uncoupling.
