Fluoramics Unveils New Aerosol Versions of Rust Inhibitor

Fluoramics recently announced that all three versions of the company’s HinderRust rust inhibitor will now be available in aerosol spray cans (ASC) for ease of application. The new packaging is intended to allow industrial users and consumers to more quickly and uniformly apply HinderRust for bumper-to-bumper vehicle protection.

Along with a propellant that immediately dissipates upon spraying, all three versions of the product are engineered with Tufoil technology, a proprietary lubricating agent that enables rust inhibitors to spread across treated surfaces while also penetrating into and freeing up frozen joints and fasteners.

Each product is specifically formulated to prevent rust and corrosion in unique ways. For example, R2.0-ASC is a lightweight industrial formula for temporary surface protection that is designed to stop corrosion until more permanent repairs can be done. S4.0-ASC is for standard rust-prevention uses, such as under the hood and on hinges and moving pieces. HV100-ASC is a heavy-duty formula that slowly self-polymerizes over time and provides added protection in cases of extreme exposure to rust-producing conditions.  

Each version of the rust inhibitor is also solvent-free and safe to use in enclosed areas.
